The Coastal Navigation Shore Based Theory Course OverviewThe AYF009 Coastal Navigation Certificate Course is competency based and is conducted by FunSail under the umbrella of Yachting Queensland as the Registered Training Organisation for DEST. The course can be conducted either as a full time, five day classroom based course or over two nights of three hours each for six weeks, plus one day at sea for your practical assessment. The high standard of this course is assured by the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF). The course includes all the theory needed to progress to the level of Coastal Skipper.
