The ideal venue for 1 day sailing lessons. There is something for everyone on the Sunshine Coast - stunning beaches, clear warm water, surfing, fishing, boating, and nature walks in vast tracts of National Park and a magnificent hinterland full of arts and crafts.

The Coast is unspoilt but cosmopolitan, where five star resorts are in harmony with pristine rainforests and wetland sanctuaries. It's all just an hour or two by car from Brisbane, Queensland's state capital and international gateway.

FunSail is based at Mooloolaba which is the heart of the Sunshine Coast and has a wealth of attractions, both man-made and natural, 65 kilometres of the worlds most beautiful golden beaches, rivers, beautiful rainforests and breathtaking vistas.

Steady South East Trade Winds along the coast combine with the beautiful Coral sea with it's abundance of wild life to provide some of the best day sailing around during most of the year.

The Sunshine Coast is perfect for a full day's sailing up the coast to Noosa and return. A round trip North to Mudjimba Island and back takes a leisurely 3 hours or so. It's just a day's sail south to Moreton Bay or North to The Great Sandy Straits.
